AMES - 3" C400 RPA OS&Y LEAD FREE
The 3 inch C400Y-3 is the OS&Y version of the lead-free Ames C400 reduced pressure assembly. It protects the potable supply from fire protection and non-potable water. Ames builds the housing and closure sleeve from 304 Schedule 40 stainless steel and says the design weighs about 70 percent less than traditional assemblies. Inside, torsion-spring check modules keep pressure loss low, and a stainless relief valve sits at the bottom of the body. Resilient seated gate valves, test cocks and grooved couplings complete the assembly, which handles up to 175 psi.
