AMES - 4" C400 RPA OS&Y LEAD FREE
4 inch Ames C400 reduced pressure assembly, lead-free, with outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) shutoff valves. Part number C400Y-4. Ames lists the C400 for protecting potable water from fire protection and non-potable sources. It is about 70 percent lighter than traditional designs, thanks to a 304 Schedule 40 stainless body and closure sleeve. The check modules use torsion springs for low pressure loss, test cocks and grooved couplings are part of the assembly, and the relief valve is stainless and bottom mounted. Ratings are 175 psi and 33 to 140°F water.
