AMES - 10" LFC500 RPDA OS&Y GPM
Ames LFC500 reduced pressure detector assembly for 10 inch lines, with OS&Y shutoff valves and a GPM meter, Ames part number C500YLF-10. For health-hazard cross-connections such as fire sprinkler systems, the LFC500 protects against backpressure, backsiphonage and fouling of either check. It is lead-free, built around a 304 Schedule 40 stainless body and closure sleeve with stainless internals, and comes in about 70 percent lighter than traditional designs. Ames rates it for 175 psi, and Watts lists it to ASSE 1047.
