AMES - 3" 4000SS RPA NRS LEAD FREE
Ames 4000SS reduced pressure assembly in 3 inch, lead-free, with NRS shutoff valves; part number 4000SSN-3. Ames designs it to protect potable water supplies in line with national plumbing codes. The 300 series stainless steel body has a short lay length and weighs about half as much as competing designs. Its patented cam-checks are thermoplastic with stainless hinge pins, cam arm and cam bearing on a single torsion spring, and the stainless relief valve uses a rolling diaphragm with no sliding seals. Ratings: 175 psi, 33 to 110°F, AWWA C511.
