AMES - 4" 3000SS DCDA OS&Y GPM
Part 3000SSY-4 is the 4 inch Ames 3000SS double check detector assembly with OS&Y shutoffs, metered in GPM. Ames designs the 3000SS for fire protection systems on non-health-hazard connections. Its cam-check assembly keeps head loss low, the lightweight stainless steel body has a short lay length that suits retrofit work, and a single top access cover held by a two-bolt grooved coupling opens up the checks. The bypass meter shows underground leaks and unauthorized water use. It can be installed horizontally or vertical flow-up, with a 175 psi maximum working pressure.
