AMES - 8" LFC300 DCDA OS&Y GPM
Double check detector assembly, Ames LFC300, in 8 inch with OS&Y valves and the GPM meter (Ames C300YLF-8). This is the lead-free model. Two tri-link checks operate independently between the two shutoff valves, and four test cocks are provided for field testing. The housing and access sleeve are stainless steel, the check disc rubber can be replaced, and Ames puts the weight at about 70 percent below traditional designs. Use it where backflow would be objectionable but not toxic; maximum pressure is 175 psi.
