AMES - 8" LFC500 RPDA OS&Y GPM
8 inch reduced pressure detector assembly: the Ames LFC500 with OS&Y shutoffs and GPM meter, part number C500YLF-8. Its stainless steel body and internal parts are lead-free, and the closure sleeve, like the body, is 304 Schedule 40 stainless. Fire sprinkler systems and other health-hazard cross-connections are the intended use. Ames states protection against backsiphonage, backpressure and fouling of either check, a 175 psi rating and an ASSE 1047 listing, at about 70 percent less weight than traditional designs.
